Management of Sam Maris University (SMU), Supare-Akoko has felicitated the Vice-Chancellor of Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Okitipupa, Prof. Temi Ologunorisa, on his induction as a Fellow of the Social Science Academy of Nigeria (SSAN), the highest academic recognition of the Academy.

The VC, who as a Climate Scientist, an erudite scholar, researcher and quintessential University Administrator, was on Tuesday conferred with the Fellowship at the 2023 General Assembly of the Academy, comprising Annual Lecture/Conference and Investiture ceremony of the Society held in Abuja.

In a Congratulatory Message issued on behalf of Management of Sam Maris University on Wednesday by the Registrar, Mr. David Daramola, Ologunorisa's induction was described as a confirmation of his invaluable contributions to the academia as well as the development of the Nigerian State and across the globe.

The Statement which attested to the academic feats, expertise and exceptional contributions of Ologunorisa, noted that the induction is well-deserved and that it is a charge to the academia to imbibe the virtues and scholarship of the Vice-Chancellor.
