Mr. Olumide Toyin Orisamoyi is a seasoned Chartered Accountant. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) of six (6) years’ standing.  He qualified as an Associate member of the Institute in 2006.

He attended the Ondo State University, Ado-Ekiti now Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti where he obtained the Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1997.  He had his secondary education at Ayegunle High School, Ayegunle-Oka, Ondo State from 1979-1984.

On successful completion of his secondary education, Mr. Orisamoyi joined the services of the Nigerian Students Loans Board in 1984 and exited the Board as a Senior Clerical Officer in 1992, in pursuit of university education.

Mr Orisamoyi commenced his accounting career as a Trainee with the Rasaki Akande & Co. (Chatered Accountants) from 1999 to 2003. In 2004, he joined the services of Dorben Polytechnic, Abuja as a Chief Accountant in the Bursary of the institution where he was exposed to higher education institution accounting practice.  He also served as an academic staff in the Department of Accountancy of the Polytechnic as a Part-Time Lecturer.

He is well versed and imbued with a sound knowledge of accounting procedures in both the public and private sectors of the Nigerian economy. He has proven ability to develop and maintain close counterpart relationship with relevant Ministries, Departments and Agencies as well as corporate organisations.   

Mr. Orisamoyi had also served in the corporate world of insurance.  He rose through the ranks to become the Head of Accounts (Northern Region) and Manager, Budget and Financial Analyst at Royal Exchange Plc. from 2007 – 2020 before venturing into private practice as a Partner in Oseni Ismaila & Co, a Chartered Accountant firm.

Mr. Orisamoyi is a distinguished, energetic, dynamic, self-motivated and seasoned Chartered Accountant with excellent interpersonal and team building skills.  He is poised to bring to bear on Sam Maris University, his wealth of experience garnered over the years in discharging his duties and responsibilities, coordinating, revitalizing and giving a boost to the financial drive of the University strategic planning as the Acting Bursar.
