Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Foundation Programme of the University for the 2024/2025 Academic Session.

Sam Maris University is the first private University licensed by the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the Akokoland of Ondo State. The University is located within a serene and secure environment at Km 2, Etioro-Afaa Road, Supare-Akoko about 7 km to Ikare-Akoko.  The University is well-equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructures, high quality facilities and well-qualified and formidable workforce to produce globally competitive graduates in legal, managerial, social and applied sciences. 

The University Foundation Programme is designed to prepare students to sit for Advanced Level examinations conducted by bodies such as the Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB), Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB), etc. leading to admission into the University undergraduate programmes through the JAMB Direct Entry mode (i.e. 200 Level). 

ELIGIBILITY

Candidates must possess credit passes in five (5) O’ Level (WAEC, NECO or NABTEB) subjects including English Language, Mathematics and any other three (3) subjects relevant to course of study at not more than two sittings. Candidates awaiting their O’ Level results may also apply. All candidates will be duly guided to register for and sit examinations in a combination of 3 subjects relevant to their proposed course of study in the University.

Guidelines for Application

  2. Click on the link ‘Download’ at the end of the Home Page to download the Application Form for Admission into the Foundation Programme.
  3. Complete the Application Form and attach copies of your O’ Level (WAEC, NECO or NABTEB) results to the Form.
  4. Take the Application Form to the Admissions Office of the University on the University Campus for the processing of your admission within 24 hours.

Candidates are to note however that they are expected to pay Application fee of N7,500 only to the University.  The details of the University account and fees structure will be made available to candidates in the Admissions Office.
